Simply print, laminate (if desired), trim then assemble together to have all the information you require condensed into handy pocket cards!
An ideal addition to your First Aid Kit and for taking with you on outings
✔️RECOGNISE the signs and symptoms of serious illness or injury and KNOW how to respond:
- anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction)
- heavy bleeding
- burns
- broken bones
- choking
- febrile seizure
- epileptic seizure
- asthma attack
- croup
- fever
- heat exhaustion (heat stroke)
- head injury
- meningitis
- poisoning
✔️UNDERSTAND the causes and how to treat:
- diarrhoea and vomiting
- nose bleeds
- insect bite or sting
✔️Act FAST in an emergency:
- choking baby / child
- CPR baby / child
- unresponsive baby / child
And ensure essential records are maintained:
- Accidents / Incidents
- Medication
- Illness
- Care Plans
- Allergies
- Notifiable diseases
Cards can be bound together in any way of your choice. A simple effective method is to punch a hole in the corner then use a keyring loop to bind the cards together.

The First Aid Pocket Cards are supplied as a PDF document and are not editable.
Please note this resource requires to be printed and self assembled. For best results MindingKids recommends that you laminate the pocket cards for improved durability. Laminating materials are not included.
Once trimmed each pocket card measures approximately 7cm x 10cm, with a maximum of 8 pocket cards per A4 sheet.
