It is not uncommon for families to share care and the dropping off and collection of children with other family members and friends. It is absolutely essential therefore that an effective system is put in place to ensure important messages are passed on and also that parents let you know which aspects of their child’s care they are happy for you to discuss with others. This Multiple Contact Policy template will help you to explain the importance of communication in a multiple contact situation and how you ensure information is shared appropriately. As explained above, it is extremely important to establish an effect system for sharing information in a multiple contact situation. This Multiple Contact Information Sharing Form will enable you to collect essential information about who will drop off / collect a child each day, establish the methods to be used to pass information on to all those involved and confirm what information parents permit you to share with others who may drop off / collect their child.
