Purchases & Delivery


Following payment for a digital download purchase, you can access your item(s) directly from the purchase confirmation page, from your order confirmation email or from the Account manager on the website. Please note, you must download your purchase within 14 days. You will not be permitted to download the item once this time has expired. Please contact us should you require further assistance.

MindingKids Gold or Platinum Members can continue to access all downloads so long as their subscription remains valid.

The majority of downloads are in the form of Zip files. You may need to download zip extract software in order to open the files. Please refer to the FAQ page for further guidance and information.


CD Orders will be posted out via Royal Mail 1st class post and are usually dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. (Please allow a little extra time around public holidays.) Printed resources are made to order so may take a little longer to arrive. Please refer to the further details section on the product description page for estimated delivery times. There is no additional fee for postage and packaging for UK orders. Customers ordering from outside the UK will be invoiced for an additional amount to cover postage and packaging costs. Please contact us to discuss any international postage requirements.


Become a MindingKids Gold or Platinum Member to access all of MindingKids product downloads and the latest resources as they become available. Following payment of the initial sign-up fee, immediate access will be granted to all downloads. Simply log in to your Account then click on the Downloads tab to access all files or simply click on the links within the Download area of each product description page. Successful payment of subscription fees will allow members to continuously access the latest downloads as and when they become available. Failure to complete subscription fees will result in immediate suspension of membership and access to downloads withdrawn. Members can choose to upgrade to Platinum, downgrade to Gold or cancel their membership at any time.


The Web App can accessed via the MindingKids website using a computer, tablet or smart phone (apple or android). The Web App can be used to complete daily diaries, plan schedules, record attendance information, log events (accidents/incidents, medication, visitors, etc.), make development observations and email activity reports to parents.

Following one week’s free trial, users will be prompted to sign up for Platinum Membership. Following payment of the initial sign-up fee, access to the app will be continued PLUS immediate access to ALL MindingKids downloads granted. Simply log in to your Account and click on ‘App’ in the main menu to access the App. All downloads can be accessed via the downloads tab in the Account manager or via the links within the Download area of each product description page. Successful payment of subscription fees will allow members to continuously access the app and all of MindingKids resource downloads. Failure to complete subscription fees will result in immediate suspension of membership and access to the web app and downloads will be withdrawn. Members can choose to downgrade to Gold, suspend, or withdraw their membership at any time.

The Web App will allow data to be entered up to six months before and up to six months from the current date. It is the responsibility of all users to back up their data regularly should they wish to refer back to information entered more than six months from the current date. The Web App includes a function to enable users to download spreadsheets of all the information entered between selected dates including any photographs that have been uploaded to the app. MindingKids will accept no responsibility for loss of data.

Note: CD Orders, Printed Resources, or any other physical goods are not included in any membership option. Discounts may apply, please refer to the summary of Membership benefits for details.


MindingKids works hard to provide all childcarers in the UK with resources that will assist them in meeting both English Ofsted and Scottish Care Inspectorate requirements. Whilst we endeavour to keep any information supplied either on our website, social media pages, or in our products up to date and correct, we make no warranties of any kind. It is the responsibility of each individual childcarer to ensure that they comply with legislation and Ofsted / Care Inspectorate requirements. You are accountable for any interpretation and use of information or products supplied by MindingKids.


All products on this website including the Web App are copyright of MindingKids. Purchased items are for your own personal use or for the use of your childcare setting and should not be shared or resold. Anyone found to be passing on MindingKids material without consent is in breach of UK copyright law. Further action will be taken.

Discounts may be available where bulk buys of the same product are required for example to childminding groups of for training purposes. Please contact us for further information.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the products sold by MindingKids we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds. Digital files can be shared easily and resource CD’s can be saved on your computer and copies made.

Should a CD or Printed Resource order fail to arrive or appear to be damaged on arrival, please contact us and we will arrange for a replacement item to be sent out or for the product to be emailed directly to you. Please note that we will require your full name, address, email address and a contact number in order to process this.

Duplicate Purchases

Some individual items are also contained in value packs of grouped items. Should you accidently purchase an item twice or realise that it is also included in another pack you have ordered, please contact us and we will arrange a refund for the duplicate purchase. Please note that refunds for duplicate purchases are only applicable on the day of sale where an item has been purchased twice in error.

Product Changes

At MindingKids we work hard to ensure our products are up to date and in keeping with current legislation. We also strive to provide resources which are outstanding in quality and competitively priced alongside other providers. To meet these goals we may therefore from time to time update or make changes to our products.

Should you find that a product has changed or been updated within 1 month (30 days) of your original purchase, MindingKids may be able to offer you a significant discount on the new product. Simply contact us with your request including the details and date of your original purchase. (Please allow 3 to 5 working days for your request to be processed.) Note that this offer does not apply to changes in product or membership prices. MindingKids holds the right to increase or lower the prices of products at any time. Customers will be charged the amount as advertised at point of sale.
