Whilst the SHANARRI Rainbows are based on the Scottish Government’s GIRFEC approach and the SHANARRI Indicators, the wellbeing experiences covered are relevant to children EVERYWHERE!

This Pack includes ALL of the following:
SHANARRI Rainbows
Three versions of the SHANARRI Rainbows are included; Infant (0 to 3 years), Pre-School (3 to 5 years) and School aged (5 years plus) with different experience statements that you would expect for each age group for each of the wellbeing indicators (Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible and Included).
Please note that the age groups are a guide and you may find that some experience statements are relevant to more than one age group.
Provided as PDF Forms the SHANARRI Rainbows can be viewed with any PDF reader. Click in the designated fields to enter children’s names and dates of birth and add a review date if desired. You can also click above each experience statement that you believe to be true for each child to mark it as observed or achieved with a star.
Alternatively, you can choose to print out the rainbows and complete by hand. Print as A4 OR A3 in size. Use a highlighter to mark off experiences or apply star stickers (not included) to create a similar effect.
A Blank SHANARRI Rainbow is also included should you wish to write on your own experience statements or SHANARRI ideas.
A Front Cover should you wish to complete SHANARRI Rainbows regularly and keep them together in an organised folder.
