As a childcare provider it is likely that you will have to deal with incidents of challenging behaviour which can be extremely stressful for you and disruptive for all who attend your setting.

It is normal for children to misbehave at times as they test out rules and boundaries, learn right from wrong and develop social and emotional skills.

Understanding the reason for the behaviour and being ready with effective prevention and intervention strategies will ensure you can respond effectively and in the best way to support the individual child.
