Use this colourful SHANARRI Star Chart to quickly record and share activities, events and other things you do to Get It Right For Every Child.

Also suitable for use in NURSERY settings!

The Care Inspectorate’s inspection methodology for childcare providers is centred on the SHANARRI Wellbeing Indicators. This star chart can be completed weekly (or monthly for part-time children) to record how you are covering each of the SHANARRI Wellbeing Indicators.

Supplied as a PDF Form, simply use your computer or tablet to click and add stars and short descriptions of activities or events. (The chart can also be printed out and completed by hand if you prefer).

The text at the top can be edited from ‘This week I…’ to anything you want. For example monthly star charts may be more appropriate for part time children.

Keep completed star charts with each child’s learning journal or let children take them home to show off how many stars they have got each week. An excellent resource to include children and show both parents and inspectors how you meet the needs of each child.

Completed Examples are included for a 9 month baby, 2 year old and 6 year old.
