Putting in place Care Plans for children helps to ensure you obtain essential information such as confirmation of parental responsibility, emergency contact details, dietary information, medical requirements or additional support needs.
Requesting further details such as abilities, routines and favourite activities can also help you to understand stages of learning and plan suitable activities and schedules for each individual child.
For children with additional support needs, developmental delays, sensitivities or where there are concerns, it is even more vital to understand needs and behaviours so as appropriate or specialist assistance can be implemented where required.
