We are deeply saddened to hear about the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and send our love and condolences to the Royal Family during this difficult time.
As we all come to terms with the loss of a much-loved and highly respected public figure, it is important to also support children and help them to understand what is happening during this period of national mourning.
The childhood bereavement charity, Winston’s Wish explains How the Queen’s death can impact children and young people and also shares advice, information and resources on how to talk to children, answer their questions and support them with their feelings.
Most importantly, we can help children learn about all Her Majesty’s fantastic achievements, and come together to celebrate the life of a monarch who was loved by so many here in the United Kingdom and around the world.
