As promised, we are delighted to announce to our Web App users that the new group observation feature is now up and running!
Simply click on the observation icon within the group section of the app to record a group observation for a selection of children, or for your entire group.
Just like individual child observations, group observations can be recorded under Basic, EYFS, Characteristics Of Effective Learning, Curriculum For Excellence or GIRFEC/SHANARRI linking to specific outcomes or indicators where desired. Select a time, add a description, detail any ideas for next steps and add photos to capture all learning experiences and achievements.
Group observations will show only in the group reports or individual reports for children that have been included in the observation. A group report sent to a parent whose child was not included in a group observation, will not include this irrelevant information.
Along with individual observations, group observations can also be included in individual Observation Outcome Reports, allowing you to generate complete summaries of each child’s learning. Tracking development progress has never been so easy!
